		1656 Reads Top water action has been fair to good over mud and grass in knee deep water. We fooled an 8-pound trout early last week with a Norton pumpkinseed sand eel Jr. Other trout caught during last week pushed into the 4 to 5 pound class. The incoming tide has produced better action. During warmer days, we’re locating active trout schooling near points. Over the weekend, area shell pads gave up trout to 20-inches. 50 Comments

I am still catching trout on shell and grass edges using live croaker and piggy perch. The reds are beginning to school, but when a school is located be aware of the other boats in pursuit of them.
